Hello filmmakers!

This is the first year a film festival has been staged in this Welsh mountain town. Brecon Beacons Film Festival / Gŵyl Ffilm Bannau Brycheiniog 2024 takes place at The Muse on Friday April 26 and Saturday April 2024. You can enter your work at http://www.filmfreeway.com. The emphasis is on creative filmmaking – anyone can make a film these days and films made on smartphones are welcome. The chosen entries will be screened in front of a live audience at The Muse, home to Brecon Fringe and Jazz Festivals.

The Brecon Beacons or the newly christened Bannau Brycheiniog (that’s Welsh), is a stunning area of natural beauty, mountains (the Beacons) and home to the once endangered Red Kite.
